Frequently Asked Questions

Parla Candle Frequently Asked Questions

We've compiled the most frequently asked questions about natural soy wax, long burning times, and handmade ceramic vessels here.

What type of wax are Parla Candle candles made from?
Our Parla Candle candles are made with natural soy wax for a clean burn and balanced fragrance diffusion.
What is the burning time of the candles?
The burning time of our products varies by model. Some series offer +40 hours of burning time. The burning time is also specified on each product page.
What should I pay attention to when lighting the candle for the first time?
For the first use, we recommend burning the candle for at least 2–3 hours until the top surface melts all the way to the edges. This reduces the risk of tunneling and ensures a more efficient burn.
How long should the wick be?
Before each burn, trim the wick to 5–7 mm. This ensures a cleaner flame, less soot, and more balanced fragrance performance.
How intense is the scent? Will it be too strong?
Parla Candle fragrances are designed to be balanced, diffusing without becoming overpowering in the room. Scent perception may vary depending on room size.
What are the basic rules for candle safety?
Never leave a burning candle unattended, keep it away from flammable surfaces, and place it out of reach of children and pets. It is generally recommended not to burn for more than 4 hours at a time.
Can the handmade ceramic vessels be used after the candle is finished?
Yes. After the candle is completely finished, you can clean out the remaining wax appropriately and reuse the ceramic vessel for decorative purposes. (Use for food contact may vary depending on the product/vessel type.)
Do soy wax candles produce soot/smoke?
With proper use, soy wax burns cleaner. Keeping the wick short, burning in a draft-free environment, and proper burning time will minimize soot/smoke.
When will my order be shipped?
